Y&C ENGINE was registered and established in August 2009 in Wuhu, Anhui Province by three initiators: CIMC Group, Yuchai Group, and Chery Automobile. It was officially completed and put into production in 2011. It specializes in the research, development, production, manufacturing, and sales of modern energy-saving and green heavy-duty engines. The company's main product, the YC6K series engine, focuses on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and attaches importance to green manufacturing. It has more than 200 patented technologies. Inheriting more than 70 years of engine manufacturing experience of Yuchai, with an experienced international quality management team and advanced manufacturing processes, it creates a world-renowned brand of heavy-duty power.
The 6K series engine is benchmarked against Daimler Benz (North America), and is independently developed based on DD13/15. It uses reliability growth technology in the engine industry, breaking through the weakness of reliability in Chinese manufacturing; the innovative introduction of precise combustion and electronic control technology, reverse cross-flow cooling technology, high-strength materials, and the successful innovative application of high-efficiency in-cylinder braking technology have significantly improved the service life of the engine, and the emission can meet the Euro VI standard, with the technical level of mass-produced engines in Europe.

The company has grown stronger, the 6K brand has won market recognition, and has won the fuel-saving champion of the China International Truck Fuel-Saving Competition four times, and has been ranked on the "Power Pioneer List" for two consecutive years. 6K products have successfully supported many vehicle manufacturers, including United Heavy Truck, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Xinjiang Company, FAW Jiefang, JAC Motors, Sany Heavy Truck, Shaanxi Automobile, Dayun Automobile, and Geely Commercial Vehicle, truly breaking through the situation of a single customer. The 6K brand has entered the forefront of the domestic heavy truck field. 6K products have wide applications in off-road fields, including mining vehicles, power generation units, generator sets, sand-suction boats, yachts, fishing boats, air compressors, and other fields. Among them, mining vehicles have successfully supported customers such as XCMG, LiuGong, Sany Heavy Industry, Tongli, and Zoomlion. And it is highly praised by customers for its high quality, strong performance, and excellent economy. Currently, 6K products have been exported to more than 10 countries, including Pakistan, South Korea, the UAE, Chile, and Argentina.
