Yuchai United Power Co., Ltd. was initiated and established in August 2009 in Wuhu, Anhui Province by three initiators: CIMC Group, Yuchai Group, and Chery Automobile. It was officially completed and put into production in 2011. It specializes in the research, development, production, manufacturing, and sales of modern energy-saving and environmentally friendly heavy-duty engines. It is the production base of Yuchai Machinery's high-end brand. The company's main product, the YC6K series engine, integrates the latest technological achievements in the world and has more than 40 technical invention patents. Inheriting nearly 70 years of engine manufacturing experience of Yuchai, with an experienced international quality management team and world-class manufacturing processes, it creates a world-renowned brand of heavy-duty power.
The 6K series engine is benchmarked against Daimler Benz (North America), and is independently developed based on DD13/15. For the first time in the engine industry, it uses reliability growth technology, breaking through the weakness of reliability in Chinese manufacturing; the innovative introduction of precise combustion and electronic control technology, reverse cross-flow cooling technology, high-strength materials, and the successful innovative application of high-efficiency in-cylinder braking technology have significantly improved the service life of the engine, and the emission can meet the Euro VI standard, with the technical level of the latest mass-produced engines in Europe. In winning the battle for blue skies, United Power actively responded and took the initiative to fully develop and support National VI products, striding towards the new era of National VI.
For twelve years, we have always adhered to the customer-centric approach, with the mission of "creating customer value." The company has grown stronger, the 6K brand has won market recognition, and has won the fuel-saving champion of the China International Truck Fuel-Saving Competition four times, and has been ranked on the "Power Pioneer List" for two consecutive years. 6K products have been successfully supplied to many vehicle manufacturers, including United Truck, Dongfeng Xinjiang, Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, Shaanxi Commercial Vehicle, Shanxi Dayun, JAC Heavy Truck, FAW Liute, Geely Commercial Vehicle, Sany Heavy Truck, and FAW Jiefang, truly breaking through the situation of a single customer. The 6K brand has entered the first echelon of the domestic heavy truck field. 6K products are also used in many fields such as ports, sand-suction ships, air compressors, mining, yachts, and fishing boats, and are exported to more than 10 countries including Pakistan, Indonesia, and South Korea.
